LINK Hungary is preparing for organizing a Four-in-Hand World Championship again... The Hungarian Equestrian Federation has taken a bid for the 2022 FEI World Driving Championship for Four-in-Hands with the location of Szilvásvárad at the International Equestrian Federation (FEI).
On 11th September in the Headquarters of FEI in Lausanne András Uzsoky, director of National Stud of Szilvásvárad accompanied by Zsuzsi Mitykó, secretary of the Hungarian Driving Committee, presented the bid project and video with intense interest of FEI representatives and replied to all questions.
Besides Sabrina Ibanez, General Secretary of FEI, the Veterinary Director of FEI, different representatives of IT, Communications, Legal, Finance, Games Operations, Broadcasting and Driving departments were present at the meeting.
Our chance for winning the bid can rise because Hungary has already organized 13 Driving World and European Championships so far with high satisfaction and success. Moreover, the Hungarian drivers are among the top athletes of this discipline with 103 FEI medals – 46 gold ones – and the Hungarian Equestrian Federation has been playing a mutually advantageous and cooperative role in the international sports diplomacy.
